Description   The Deluxe version of the Walking Eagle Lid comes with the Basic compliment of a rubber gasket, rubber stopper, and barbed elbow. But since this is the Deluxe version, we also include the stainless steel terminal hardware, including Walking Eagle's self-sealing washers for air-tight assembly! These are made of the same material as the plastic Mason lids (polypropylene), but are more durable and more reliable under hot conditions and strong vacuum pressures. It is approximately 1/8" thick, except where the 'well' is located. The well allows space for the Bubbler. Also, there is no rise on the outer edge, so any spills can run off or be wiped up easily. The rubber stopper in the center replaces the pressure relief valve and also allows for easy refills of the electrolyzer's water level. There is a riser around the stopper hole designed so contamination won't run back in. Walking Eagle states "During tests, they did not warp or lose their seal like the Mason lids can. All in all, they have performed quite well." This unit comes complete with rubber sealing gasket, 1/4" barbed elbow, the rubber stopper AND those sexy terminals with the self-sealing washers!
